Jeanna Marie Phillips

About the owner

Born in San Antonio, Texas, Jeanna started dancing, singing and acting at the age of five and performed in her first professional production at the age of seven. While at Texas State University she studied Radio, Television and Film and Theater Arts and appeared in many musicals and straight plays including  "Turandot,” "The Wizard of Oz," "A Christmas Carol," "Round and Round the Garden" and "Lend Me a Tenor."  Jeanna landed a role as a singer/dancer on a cruise line based in Canada and set sail for two years.
In 1998 Jeanna moved to California where she worked as a professional actor, singer, dancer, stunt performer and stand-in for over ten years. Jeannas’ film and television credits include "Donnie Darko," "Say It Isn’t So," "Niche," "Sol Goode", “These Old Broads”, and "S Club7." Additionally in 2016 Jeanna made her Assistant Directing debut in “Chasing Grace” a film staring Christopher Bacus and Julia Barnett Tracy. She has since made several movies in Texas including Texas Cult House, Flicker, The Silent Ballet and First Day.
With over a decade of experience in early childhood education, Jeanna opened her first dance studio in 2002 in L.A. Upon moving to Texas in 2009, she opened another dance studio in Austin, Texas. She has since consulted for a little under a dozen dance studios in the US and England where she had the privilege to train and befriend many fantastic people from whom she has learned so much.
Jeanna enjoys teaching, coaching, and mentoring others in dance, music, art, acting, self-confidence and having fun. She looks forward to getting to know you, working together to find your artist within and make all of your goals and dreams come true!
